Grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the Holy Spirit have enabled me to present myself as a vessel for His glory. First of all, let me inform you concerning the name of this website. It is intentionally formed from my name which is Justin McIntosh. Justice, to ascertain that careful, critical explanation or interpretation of the Scriptures be given (known as "biblical exegesis.") Tosh, which is the last part of my surname: hence, "Justice Tosh Ministries." It is my sincere intention, to provide credible information and teachings that can stimulate discovery, increase understanding and also in the encouraging of application. It is not intended to incite arguing, but to facilitate useful discussions. Arguing aims at showing who is right, but discussion seeks to find out what is truth.
It is useful always to consider what is involved in the process of teaching and learning. There are many scholarly definitions attempting to explain the function of teaching. They range from (a) Imparting knowledge, (b) Developing Skills, (c) Making Things Clear, etc. These are all correct and relevant to a degree, but there is a more practical and realistic one to be considered or recommended. The primary purpose of teaching and discussing is to Produce Change - and change begins with one's self. Added to that, let us all intentionally aim to turn information into transformation.
