Our History
Pentecostal Church of the Living God is a registered charity #375 in the island of Barbados. The church had its beginnings in earlier days under former leadership, but was reformed/revised under new leadership by Justin M. McIntosh the present presiding Bishop/overseer on February 13, 1998.
Who We Are
The organization believes and operates in the five-fold ministry: namely, that of the Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher and Evangelist. It also enhances a global outreach, and is vibrantly pursuing such.

What we believe
• We believe in one God, creator and ruler of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the historicity of the Man Christ Jesus, who is the head of the church, (the called-out ecclesia of God); His pre-incarnate existence as one with the Father, His virgin birth, sinless humanity, and unqualified Deity, His atoning death; burial; resurrection, ascension to the Father’s Right Hand and soon coming again as the Eternal Son of God, the Father and only Redeemer of mankind.
• We believe the Scriptures to be the inspired Word of God. They were written by human authors under the perfect supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is therefore truth without error and is the complete revelation of God in all matters of faith and practice.
• We believe in the sanctity of human life and that all persons have a right to life including those not yet born. We affirm that all men are created in the image of God. We therefore affirm the dignity and worth of the human person and the unconditional equality of all men everywhere regardless of race, place of origin, political opinion, colour, creed or sex. As such all men must be free from discrimination. We affirm the concept of brotherly love.
•We believe in the universality of sin and the “sin-nature” which every person inherited from Adam, the first man. This “sin” nature separates every person from God and can only be remedied by salvation through a personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to holy living. We affirm the Christian worldview encourages a holy and joyful renewal of each individual and the whole universe. We therefore promote biblical convictions:
•We affirm that the Holy Spirit is the Lord and giver of life, who is to be worshiped and glorified with the Father and the Son. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. And that only the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit enables the believer to live a godly life.
•We believe in the fundamentals of marriage; (which has only one meaning; the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in scripture and that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that marriage is the only legitimate context for sexual activity.
